Nourishing Body & Soul

Symphony for Hope

A series of ecumenical celebrations uniting music, faith, and generosity to strengthen food security across Northwest North Carolina.

Our Mission

“Where there is love, there is hope. When neighbors love one another, hope follows, because hope is kindled by knowing that we are not alone.”

Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest North Carolina and the Winston-Salem Symphony are partnering with composer and conductor Michael Dodds to present an ecumenical service of worship hosted by cathedral-scale churches on consecutive evenings — anchored by a new symphony for festival chorus and orchestra, inspired by Psalm 100.
